Job Description:

Join our Clinical Observation Unit in Lynchburg, VA, for an engaging 13-week travel nursing assignment focused on Med/Surg. This role offers 12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM) where you’ll observe and support patient care activities in a fast-paced hospital setting. The unit has a patient ratio of approximately 1:5 or 1:6, and you'll have plenty of opportunity to learn and grow, especially as Centra hospital welcomes first-time travel nurses to this unit through the end of January. An important part of this role involves working at least one major holiday, with some weekends required, making it ideal for those looking to immerse themselves in both patient care and hospital culture during a busy season. Expect to receive comprehensive training and support, including optional IV skills and upskilling in a collaborative environment with students and new hires.
