Job Description:

Join a fast-paced ICU team as a travel nurse for a 13-week contract in Rockford, IL. This role offers the opportunity to work with patients experiencing complex trauma cases, including head, chest, and abdominal injuries, as well as stroke and burn patients up to 20% BSA. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule, providing a unique experience in critical care with a focus on vent management, medication titration, and advanced line procedures. The setting is intense but rewarding, giving you a chance to hone your skills in a high-acuity environment while supporting a team of professionals committed to patient safety and outcomes. The facility emphasizes autonomous nursing with in-unit charge nurses, in-house hospitalists, and intensivists, along with a broad range of ICU-specific equipment and monitoring tools.
