Job Description:

Join a reputable healthcare facility in Philadelphia for a 13-week PACU Registered Nurse contract. This role offers an engaging opportunity to work in a Level I Trauma Center, specializing in critical care with a focus on adult and pediatric patient populations. You'll be handling patients recovering from surgeries in a fast-paced environment, with shifts from 11:00 am to 11:30 pm on a 3x12-hour schedule. The position involves some on-call responsibilities, including holiday coverage, and may require floating to related units like the GI or pain center. Experience with ICU, SICU, MICU, or CTICU, along with trauma certification (TNCC, PALS, ACLS), is essential. Expect a collaborative team setting where your critical care background helps shape patient outcomes while providing a rewarding professional experience.

Job Specifics:

Location: Philadelphia, PA
Shift: 12-hour mids, 11:00 am – 11:30 pm
Duration: 13 weeks with a weekly commitment of 36 hours
Additional details: Float may be required; RTO must be requested at time of submission. The charting system used is Cerner Aecis Surgi Net. Scrubs are provided, and first-time travelers are welcome.
