Job Description

Join a nine-week travel assignment as a Burn Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse in San Francisco. You will work 12-hour day shifts caring for critically ill burn patients, with a schedule of three shifts per week from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. This role may include floating to other facilities, so flexibility across care settings is essential. Pack your clinical expertise and a little wanderlust for an assignment that combines focused critical care with the opportunity to experience the Bay Area.

Applicants must hold a California RN license, BSN, AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, along with at least two years of RN experience and one year of critical care experience. Burn unit experience is preferred, as is pediatric experience. CCRN, ABLS, and CBRN certifications are also preferred.

Weather

San Francisco typically offers mild, comfortable weather with cool mornings and evenings, moderate daytime temperatures, and occasional breezes or light rain. Layered clothing and a light jacket are useful for exploring the city and surrounding areas.

Fun Things To Do

• Golden Gate Park: Explore gardens, museums, trails, and open green spaces.

• Alcatraz Island: Take a ferry across the bay for a tour of the historic island.

• Day Trip—Muir Woods: Walk among towering coastal redwoods just north of the city.

• Day Trip—Napa Valley: Enjoy scenic vineyard landscapes, tasting rooms, and local dining.

• Sausalito: Visit the waterfront, browse local shops, and enjoy views across the bay.
