Job Description

Join a 13-week travel assignment as a NICU Registered Nurse supporting newborns in a high-acuity Level 4 setting. You will provide specialized care for critically ill and surgical neonates while working with equipment and therapies including oscillators, conventional ventilators, CPAP, specialty gases, PICC lines, Broviacs, UACs, UVCs, PAL lines, trachs, ostomies, and G-tubes. The role includes pre- and post-operative care, complex line changes involving multiple drips, and flexibility to float within scope to PICU, CVICU, and affiliated NICU locations.

The schedule is flexible rather than a fixed rotation: assignments may include days or nights, with the schedule published at the beginning of each schedule period. Night shifts are 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Weekend availability and flexibility to work designated holidays are required. First-time travelers are welcome with qualifying Level 4 experience. A California RN license, BLS, and Advanced NRP are required; PALS is preferred. Travelers must have reliable personal transportation.

Job Specifics

Shift: 12-hour shifts, generally 3 shifts per week; schedule may vary between days and nights, with night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
