Job Description

This 13-week travel assignment is an opportunity for an experienced Wound Care Registered Nurse to provide specialized assessment and management for routine and complex pressure injuries, chronic wounds, dermatologic conditions, and new ostomy placements. You will work with wound vacs, novel therapies, wound photography, HAPI documentation, and Stage I-IV pressure ulcer management. The schedule follows weekday day shifts with one Saturday shift per month, every third weekend, and every other holiday as needed. BLS and WCC certifications are required; ACLS and WOCN certification are preferred. Three years of nursing experience, hospital experience, travel experience, charge experience, and Cerner proficiency are required or preferred as specified.

Weather

Expect generally mild days with crisp air, cooler evenings, and occasional rainfall. Comfortable layers and a light jacket are useful for exploring the area between shifts.
