Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment is for an experienced registered nurse supporting a medical and medical intermediate unit in Roanoke Rapids. You will care for patients with conditions including myocardial infarction, stroke, heart failure, pulmonary embolism, respiratory failure, diabetes, and renal disease. The role includes managing patients requiring close monitoring, titrating vasoactive drips such as nitroglycerin, Cardene, and Cardizem, and performing procedures including chest tube, central line, and thoracentesis care. Flexible self-scheduling is available based on unit and manager needs, with opportunities to float to the emergency department, medical-surgical units, and ICU.
