Job Description:

Provide specialized labor and delivery care during a 13-week travel assignment in Merced, California. You will support patients through labor, delivery, antepartum care, and recovery; circulate cesarean sections; manage patients receiving magnesium; and care for a diverse patient population. The assignment includes 12-hour day shifts, bedside reporting, hourly rounds, detailed documentation, and collaboration with in-house obstetric and anesthesia teams. Experience with fetal monitoring, strong IV skills, and the ability to apply evidence-based algorithms are important. You will also support baby-friendly practices, golden-hour care, newborn education, and the development of newer nurses.
