Job Description:

This travel nursing opportunity places you in a busy mixed cardiac and medical ICU, where you'll be caring for patients with conditions such as DKA, Acute Respiratory Failure, MIs, CABGs, and those on ventilators. The shift runs from 7PM to 7AM, providing a challenging yet rewarding night experience. You will work alongside a skilled team providing routine and complex care, making a real impact during your shift. Job Specifics:

Location: Alexandria, Louisiana
Shift: 12-hour nights (7PM - 7AM)
Duration: 36 hours per week for approximately 13 weeks
Rate: $90 per hour, with an estimated weekly gross of $2,051.78
The assignment involves managing a diverse set of critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU environment, with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 2:1 for ICU and 4:1 for IMCU. The role requires current RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS certification, and offers the opportunity to work in a challenging yet fulfilling setting with every other weekend on. There is no on-call or floating involved, and a temporary-to-permanent option may be available.
