Job Description:

This ICU RN contract offers an opportunity to work with a diverse range of critical care cases in a 33-bed unit. You'll manage adult patients suffering from trauma, cardiac issues, sepsis, and respiratory distress, often titrating drips like insulin, sedation, and cardiac medications. The shift consists of 12-hour days, with a focus on monitoring and responding to patient needs in a fast-paced ICU environment. Experience with ventilator management and interpreting telemetry strips is essential. This assignment provides a chance to sharpen your critical care skills while experiencing the unique rhythm of Nebraska's central plains. Be prepared to work every other weekend and participate in holiday coverage, with a short orientation to get you oriented to the unit's specific protocols and equipment. Artificial nails are not allowed, and a valid driver’s license is required for verification of position location.
