Job Description:

Join a busy ICU team in Yakima, Washington, for a 13-week travel contract working 12-hour night shifts. This role involves caring for patients with conditions such as CHF, respiratory distress, ACS, and post-cath care, among others. Travelers will handle patient monitoring, dressing changes, chest tubes, wound vacs, femoral arterial sheaths, and drips including heparin, amiodarone, and nitro. Prior experience with activity around above-below patients, chest tubes, and monitoring femoral sheaths is required; preferred skills include Art line, Impella, and IABP. You will operate within a 226-bed community hospital, floating primarily on TELE, Telemetry 2EW, Med-Surg, and Neurology units. This assignment requires ACLS and BLS certifications and familiarity with EPIC EMR. No weekend rotations or on-call responsibilities are expected, and scrub attire can be any professional color. This is a great opportunity for experienced ICU nurses seeking a stable, engaging assignment in a supportive hospital environment.
