Job Description:
This travel RN role in MedSurg/Telemetry at a community teaching hospital offers a hands-on opportunity to work with a variety of cardiac patients including those experiencing chest pain, arrhythmias, and potential stroke symptoms. The shift is 12-hour nights, providing a chance to experience the quieter hours of hospital life while managing a patient load of four to five patients with telemetry monitoring. You will participate in managing non-titrating cardiac drips like Cardizem and Amiodarone, and perform essential skills such as IV starts, wound care, and central line management. The unit values team players, supports float assignments within the region, and operates with a friendly, patient-centered approach. An engaging, fast-paced environment, perfect for those who enjoy cardiac-focused nursing tasks outside the standard hours, with support from charge nurses and ancillary staff along the way.
