Job Description:

This 13-week contract offers an opportunity to work in a specialized cardiac intensive care setting that supports thoracic procedures, electrophysiology, and structural heart interventions. As a registered nurse, you will be caring for patients requiring intermediate care, including post-surgical and downgraded CVICU patients. Your responsibilities will include titrating blood pressure and antiarrhythmic drips like amio and nitro, interpreting telemonitor strips, and assisting with ventilator management (BiPAP, CPAP, nasal cannula). The role involves collaborating with a skilled team of hospitalists and intensivists on a 12-hour day shift. Expect a supportive environment emphasizing patient stabilization and cardiac monitoring, with a notable focus on vascular and cardiac diagnoses such as atrial fibrillation RVR, CHF, CVAs, and post-procedure care.
