Job Description:

Join a busy Medical Surgical unit in Denison, Iowa, where you'll focus on managing a broad spectrum of patient needs during 12-hour night shifts. This role involves handling respiratory issues, post-operative care, wound management, and some pediatrics, with the opportunity to work with cardiac drips like Cardizem and insulin. You'll need to set up and interpret telemetry strips and be comfortable with Bi-Pap equipment. The assignment offers a chance to experience a variety of cases in a critical access facility and to float between units as needed, making each shift engaging. Expect to collaborate with RTs, paramedics, and EMTs, all while enjoying a steady pace that keeps you sharp and involved in meticulous patient monitoring and care planning.
