Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment places you in a busy telemetry unit, where you'll monitor adult patients with a variety of cardiac, neuro, and post-surgical conditions. The shift is 12-hour nights, giving you quiet hours for uninterrupted focus while working alongside a dedicated team. You'll float within Zone 4, covering facilities around Garden City, Kansas, including hospitals in Ulysses and Dodge City. This role offers a chance to deepen your telemetry expertise in diverse patient populations. Expect to engage with advanced telemetry equipment, read strip strips, and manage patients with stable long-term placements and post-surgical recoveries. The unit operates with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5-6 based on acuity, requiring BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Prior neuro experience and familiarity with Alaris pumps and EPIC are preferred. This assignment is ideal for a nurse eager to take on a dynamic tele unit, balancing independence with team collaboration in a supportive environment.
