Job Description:

This nursing role places you in the heart of Johns Hopkins Hospital's 12 West Brain Rescue Unit and Neurosurgical Stroke department. You'll be providing specialized care for adult neurology and neurosurgical patients, focusing on conditions like stroke, intracranial hemorrhage, and Parkinson's disease. The schedule features 12-hour night shifts, offering a unique opportunity to experience the quieter hours of a busy hospital while supporting critical brain health cases. Your expertise with neurology patients will be essential, especially if you bring prior med-surg or tele acute care experience, and familiarity with electronic health records like EPIC is a plus. Expect to work every third weekend with holidays as needed, ensuring a balanced workweek of approximately 36 hours. This assignment not only hones your skills in neuro care but immerses you in a research-driven environment at a leading medical institution.
