Job Description:

Join a reputable teaching hospital in Macon, GA, as a Cardiac Sonographer on a 13-week travel contract. This role offers a hands-on experience with a wide variety of cardiac imaging procedures, including echocardiograms, TEEs, and fetal scans, supporting a large structural program. You’ll operate in a busy setting with two echo suites and bedside inpatient scans, handling a diverse patient population that ranges from pediatric to adult. The position involves preliminary interpretation of scans, assisting with specialized procedures like pericardiocentesis, and collaborating with cardiologists and other team members. Enjoy a schedule of 10-hour days, with on-call responsibilities once a week, and the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic cardiology department in a vibrant hospital environment.
