Job Description:

Join a rewarding travel assignment as an experienced Med/Surg RN at a prominent hospital located in Evansville, Indiana. This 13-week contract offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, providing an excellent opportunity to deepen your bedside skills in a busy, fast-paced environment. You'll be caring for a diverse adult patient population recovering from surgery, managing high-risk conditions like sepsis, COPD, CHF, and post-operative care. The role involves frequent patient assessments, administering medications such as Heparin drips and blood products, and managing devices like chest tubes and NG/PEG tubes. Float requirements include coverage within the same campus or nearby facilities, and certified RNs with a current compact license, BLS, and NIHSS are encouraged to apply. This assignment stands out by offering the chance to precept students and new staff, all while working alongside experienced leadership and supportive CNA teams.
