Job Description:

Join our team as a PCU Registered Nurse in Roanoke, Virginia, for a 13-week travel contract on a specialized Medical Unit. You will work 12-hour night shifts, providing care for acutely and chronically ill adults with complex medical conditions. Your role involves managing cardiac monitoring, interpreting dysrhythmias, administering cardiac drips without titration, and performing IV therapy, phlebotomy, and line care. You'll support patients with respiratory needs, including oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway management, and may float within your skillset to other units as needed. This assignment offers the chance to experience a busy, multi-faceted hospital setting with a team dedicated to exceptional care—think of it as a high-stakes, fast-paced medical adventure with a supportive crew. You’ll take part in a unit staffed with 1:4-5 ratios, using remote telemetry monitored on-site, ensuring safety and efficiency in patient management.
