Job Description:

Join us for a 18-week travel nursing opportunity on a 12-hour night shift in Peoria, Illinois, working within the Acute Care G200 unit. You'll be caring for adult patients with a variety of medical diagnoses, including GI bleeds, sepsis, CHF, and COVID, among others. This role offers a chance to gain hands-on experience with titrating Heparin drips, managing varied patient conditions, and collaborating with a dedicated team of Charge RNs, crisis RNs, and patient care techs. The unit features a mix of private and semi-private rooms, with patient ratios averaging 4-5:1 during days and 5-6:1 at night. Expect a mix of routine patient care, titration of drips, and participation in a supportive team environment that emphasizes quality and safety. This assignment is perfect for RNs seeking to deepen their acute care skills while working in a collaborative setting that values resourcefulness and professionalism.
