Job Description:

Join our team for a 13-week contract in Wheeling, WV, working in an Intermediate Care Unit that manages a variety of patients with conditions such as chest pain, arrhythmias, and post-cardiac procedures. This position involves providing care to a 30-bed unit with a mix of private and semi-private rooms. Travelers will work 12-hour night shifts, with a flexible schedule that includes weekend rotations and holiday coverage if needed. Expect to read and interpret telemetry strips, titrate infusions like Amiodarone and Heparin, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including hospitalists, intensivists, RTs, and pharmacists. This role offers an engaging environment where you’ll be active in managing complex patient needs and supporting a busy ICU setting—think of it as a chance to sharpen your skills in an energetic, fast-paced atmosphere.
