Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract places you in a 12-hour daytime ICU shift within a hospital setting in Bay City, Texas. You'll be working in a 6-bed ICU with a focus on high-acuity cardiac patients, including those on ventilators, sedation, and antiarrhythmic drips. The role requires proficiency in ventilator management, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response. Expect a rotating schedule with guaranteed 36 hours weekly, and the opportunity to enhance your skills in a fast-paced, critical care environment. The hospital operates with a hospitalist or intensivist available 24/7, and nurses take on a substantial role in patient monitoring and intervention. This assignment offers a chance to work alongside experienced staff and expand your expertise in a well-supported unit. Play a vital part in managing complex cases such as sepsis, respiratory failure, and severe anemia, all while enjoying the collaborative hospital atmosphere.
