Job Description:

This travel healthcare role supports a unit preparing for a major Electronic Medical Record (EMR) transition, specifically the Epic go-live. The ideal candidate needs experience with Cerner and Epic EMR systems. The assignment involves working 12-hour day shifts in a cardiac/telemetry and ICU-CCU setting, focusing on adult patients with cardiac, stroke, and vascular conditions. Prior to starting, travelers must self-study telemetry strips and pass a basic dysrhythmia test during the first week to qualify for ICU-CCU work. The position offers a chance to be part of a critical implementation phase, providing high-quality nursing care and engaging with a multidisciplinary team. Overtime may be available, and occasional on-call duties can be expected, with a requirement to respond within one hour if called in.
