Job Description:

This neuro ICU RN position offers a chance to work in a specialized 8-bed unit that cares for stroke, TBI, head injury, and neurosurgery patients. The role involves float assignments between Neuro Critical Care ICU and Medical/Surgical ICU units, with opportunities to gain experience in neuro assessments, bedside procedures, and managing devices like EVDs and ICP monitors. You'll be performing essential neuro-specific tasks such as bolt and drain placements, along with standard ICU procedures like line placements and intubation. The shift is 12-hour nights, and the assignment is structured for 13 weeks, requiring resilience and independent task management. You'll become an integral part of a dedicated team, with the chance to refine your assessment skills in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
