Job Description:

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Neuro Progressive Care Unit (PCU) where you'll be at the forefront of neuro patient management. This role involves caring for neuro stepdown and progressive patients, performing drip titrations for experienced clinicians, and utilizing equipment like EPIC, PYXIS, Philips defibrillators, and bedside monitors. The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of PCU or stepdown experience, with a focus on neuro cases. Your daily responsibilities will include monitoring neurological status, managing IV drips, and collaborating closely with physicians and staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You'll work scheduled 12-hour night shifts, never alone, with weekends on rotation, and will sometimes float to MedSurg or other units as needed, providing flexibility in diverse clinical settings. Your expertise in neuro procedures and familiarity with the required equipment will be essential to thrive in this engaging role. The unit's vibrant environment offers hands-on experience in neuro patient care with a supportive team.
