Job Description:

Join a specialized unit in Bridgeport for a 13-week travel contract working 12-hour night shifts. This role is ideal for RNs experienced with step-down patient care, including those recovering from post-MI procedures with sheath pulls, post-op vascular patients, and individuals managing GI bleeding or DKA. The unit maintains a ratio of 1 nurse to 3 patients, with BiPAP and CPAP equipment on site. You'll be responsible for titrating drips such as Nitroglycerine, Neo, and Cardene, with support from charge nurses and house supervisors, all while reading strips and monitoring telemetry for all patients. The environment offers a balanced mix of independent responsibilities and team collaboration, with a focus on critical care within a fast-paced hospital setting. Expect a role that challenges your skills and offers a valuable, hands-on experience in managing complex patient conditions.
