Job Description:

Join our team as a registered nurse on a 16-week contract working 12-hour night shifts in a mixed acuity setting that includes both medical-surgical and telemetry patients. This role offers a chance to experience a diverse patient population, with responsibilities that include IV starts, tracheostomy management, and telemetry monitoring. The unit operates with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, and while oncology experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. EPIC EMR experience is required, and previous travel nursing experience is highly valued. During orientation, you'll spend your first week on day shifts before transitioning to your regular night shift schedule, which involves working three 12-hour nights per week. Flexibility is important, as shift assignments are reviewed every four weeks, with changes based on staffing needs.
