Job Description:

This contract position involves working as an emergency room RN at a critical access hospital located in Springfield, Colorado. You will be responsible for managing a variety of acute patient needs during overnight 12-hour shifts. Your duties include assessing patients’ physical and psychosocial conditions, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and coordinating with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver prompt, effective care. The role offers a unique opportunity to be deeply involved in emergency response situations within a small hospital setting, including trauma bay and triage areas, making each shift both challenging and rewarding. You’ll also document care accurately, support performance improvement initiatives, and educate patients and families as needed.
