Job Description:

This step down Registered Nurse contract offers an engaging opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment that closely resembles ICU care. You'll be providing critical oversight in a true stepdown/mini ICU setting, managing patients with complex cardiac needs, including titrating insulin, vasoactive drips, and post-op heart day 1 care. Shifts run overnight in 12-hour night blocks, giving you a chance to experience this lively city with its warm weather and vibrant community. If you've mastered managing tracheostomies, arterial lines, and are comfortable floating within your scope of care, this role might be the perfect fit. Please note, this position prefers experienced ICU stepdown nurses and requires full commitment for the entire 13-week contract.
