Job Description:

This ICU RN role offers the opportunity to work in a 33-bed unit with an average daily census of 16 patients, centered around critical care of trauma, cardiac, overdose/substance abuse, sepsis, post-stent, pacemaker placement, stroke, vascular cases, renal failure, heart failure, and respiratory distress. Traveling RNs will support the unit during 12-hour day shifts, providing essential monitoring, interpreting GE monitor strips, and managing titratable drips such as cardiac, insulin, and sedation infusions. You’ll enjoy a schedule with every other weekend off and the chance to experience the dynamic environment of intensive care, where every shift challenges your skills and keeps you engaged. Be prepared to troubleshoot ventilators and other respiratory equipment, including vents, Cpap, BiPap, and high flow devices, as part of your routine.
