Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers an exciting opportunity to work in a hospital's Emergency Department as a registered nurse. You will be responsible for managing an average of 25 patients daily, with patient ratios of 1:4-5 depending on acuity. Your role involves providing high-quality nursing care during 12-hour night shifts within a Level 3 Trauma Center, handling common diagnoses such as abdominal pain, diabetes, NSTEMI, pneumonia, trauma, stroke, and hypertension. Expect to work with standard ER medications and participate in point-of-care lab testing and breathing treatments. Leadership will coordinate your schedule based on unit needs, and you will float within regional ERs. This assignment allows you to experience the fast pace and diverse cases typical of a busy emergency department, all while working in a supportive team environment with techs, RTs, and other staff members.
