Job Description:

Join the Neuro Cardiac Unit as a Med/Surg/Tele RN on a 13-week contract at Deaconess Gateway. This role involves working 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, providing care for complex Med/Surg/Tele patients with cardiac and neurological needs. You will interpret 12-lead EKGs, initiate and titrate various drips, and perform neuro assessments including NIHSS and dysphagia screens. The assignment offers a chance to work with a supportive team in a teaching hospital environment, with opportunities for cross-campus float within the Deaconess campus network. The position emphasizes strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and resilience, making it a rewarding experience for seasoned travelers eager to expand their expertise in a vibrant setting.
