Job Description:

This ICU RN position takes place in a PCU setting where you'll primarily care for step-down patients during 12-hour night shifts. Your role involves managing ventilated patients with support from respiratory therapists, handling cardiac and insulin drips, and adhering to protocols for DKA. You'll respond to Rapid Response and Code Blue emergencies and assist newer staff members by interpreting tele rhythm strips. The unique aspect of this assignment is balancing advanced critical care responsibilities with a structured 36-hour week, offering a rewarding opportunity to apply your critical care expertise in a supportive environment.
