Job Description:

Join us for an engaging travel RN opportunity on a specialized Neurology and Neurosurgery Medical Surgical unit. This 48-bed floor handles a variety of neurological conditions, including strokes, aneurysms, seizures, spinal fusions, and brain or spinal cord tumors. With eight beds equipped for long-term EEG monitoring, you'll experience a mix of medical-surgical and telemetry care. RNs should be comfortable caring for up to six Med Surg patients and prepared to float within scope across units like 4CS, 5 West, 6 Neuro, and others. This role involves frequent drifts into complex neurological patient care, requiring EPIC charting experience and at least two years of recent experience in a large, urban hospital setting. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts, with a commitment of 36 hours per week over a 13-week contract. The team includes care techs, transport crew, and paramedics, while careful attention to safety and quality is paramount in this NICOTINE-FREE facility. This assignment offers an immersive experience in a busy, innovative hospital environment that stands at the forefront of medical research and education.
