Job Description:

Join us as a Telemetry Registered Nurse in Leonardtown, Maryland, for an engaging 13-week contract that will challenge and hone your skills in cardiovascular monitoring and rhythm interpretation. This role focuses on managing patients with complex cardiac conditions, requiring precise dysrhythmia interpretation, management, and collaboration with a dedicated team. The shift is scheduled for 12-hour nights, providing a rhythm of evening hours from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, giving you the opportunity to enjoy quiet mornings and explore the scenic surroundings during weekdays off. Your expertise in ER holding, telemetry, and rhythm interpretation will be essential, especially as you work in a unit where floatation to other comparable or lower acuity areas may be necessary. Certifying your credentials with ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS is mandatory, and your pass on the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum of 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms will be essential. This contract welcomes first-time travelers and offers a competitive weekly gross pay of approximately $1,696.08, with local candidates within 60 miles eligible for lower rates.
