Job Description:

This travel RN role places you in a bustling Emergency Department at a Level 1 Trauma Teaching Hospital in Macon, Georgia, renowned for its 637 licensed beds and comprehensive trauma services. You'll be working 12-hour day shifts over a 13-week contract, gaining hands-on experience managing high-acuity cases such as chest pain, strokes, diabetes, and trauma-related injuries. The environment requires quick thinking, proficiency with complex drips like Heparin and Dopamine, and coordination with multidisciplinary support teams including phlebotomy, RT, and hospitalists. You'll be handling approximately four patients per RN, with flexible floating to nearby facilities, all while utilizing advanced technology like EPIC EMR and Phillips monitors. This role is ideal for experienced ER nurses ready to thrive in a fast-paced setting and contribute to a team that works together amidst a dynamic, high-volume workflow.
