Job Description:

Join a stepdown cardiac neuro unit at Deaconess Midtown for a 13-week travel assignment. This role offers the chance to work a 12-hour day shift, beginning early in the morning, on a blended 19-bed unit that handles post-procedure cardiac patients, neuro cases, and sepsis. You'll interpret 12-lead EKGs, manage post-heart cath care, initiate and titrate critical drips, and perform neuro assessments with NIHSS. The environment values strong assessment skills and critical thinking, with a primary focus on cardiac and neuro patient populations. You’ll float within the skillset to nearby campuses when needed, and the schedule includes every other weekend and holiday shifts. This assignment provides an excellent opportunity to add valuable experience while working in a teaching hospital setting.
