Job Description:

This 13-week contract places you in a high-acuity Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) where precision and confidence are key. You will manage critically ill patients recovering from complex procedures like CABG, LVAD placements, and TAVRs, often working alongside a dedicated team including hospitalists and intensivists. The role involves performing advanced patient assessments, interpreting EKGs and critical vitals, and managing invasive lines and drips. The shift is a 12-hour night assignment that requires proactive communication, especially in a setting where quick thinking and independence are essential. This unit is no place for second-guessing — it’s a space for experienced professionals who thrive on challenge and teamwork.
