Job Description:

Join a dedicated cardiac surgical team in Glendale, California, for a 13-week travel assignment in the OR suite. This role involves assisting with complex heart procedures such as CABGs, AVRs, and repair of AAAs. You’ll be working primarily during 10-hour days, with the opportunity to experience a fast-paced environment that keeps you on your toes—sometimes with days without cases and other times with a sudden influx of patients. Your expertise with Cerner EMR and certification in BLS and ACLS are essential for success here. The role requires scrubbing in and supporting the team during surgeries, with a focus on flexibility and adaptability, especially considering the union environment and the varied case schedule. Weekend and weekday call responsibilities are part of the package, with a typical response time of 30 minutes. This assignment offers a unique chance to work in a well-supported, friendly team while sharpening your skills in a busy surgical setting.
