Job Description:

Join our team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract in Jefferson, North Carolina. This night shift position offers an engaging opportunity to work 12-hour overnight shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. with a typical ratio of 1:6 patients. You'll be responsible for starting IVs, managing medications through systems like Meditech and Omnicell, and communicating effectively using SBAR. While float requirements are rare, occasional assignments as a sitter or monitor tech may arise. This role emphasizes skillful nursing in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on patient safety and clinical competence. The position provides a chance to hone your skills while experiencing the vibrant local community beyond the hospital walls.
