Job Description:

Join a reputable outpatient radiation oncology facility in Yakima, WA, for a rewarding 13-week travel contract as a Radiation Therapist. In this role, you'll primarily work with adult patients undergoing radiation and medical oncology treatments, utilizing advanced technology such as Varian Linear Accelerator True Beam and Aria EMR. Your responsibilities will include performing CT simulation, patient positioning, tattoos, chart reading, and accurately interpreting treatment plans for procedures like SBRT, SRS, DIBH, IMRT, and IGRT. This position offers a balanced Monday through Friday schedule from 8am to 5pm, with no on-call or holiday expectations. It’s an excellent opportunity for experienced therapists seeking a new adventure while applying skills in a supportive outpatient setting that features two treatment rooms and modern equipment. An optional first-time traveler opportunity is available for those with at least 2 years of experience.
