Job Description:

This Radiation Therapy Technologist position at Mercy Hospital Joplin offers a hands-on role in delivering advanced radiation treatments in a busy oncology unit. You will operate an Elekta Versa HD linear accelerator with Mosaiq R&V, providing treatments such as 3D, IMRT, VMAT, SRS, and SBRT to approximately 25-35 patients daily. The shift runs on a standard 8-hour daytime schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 36-hour workweek over 13 weeks. During high demand periods, your focus on maintaining safe, efficient, patient-centered care is key, especially as the team covers summer PTO coverage. Experience with operational safety and equipment like Elekta linear accelerators, along with strong organizational and communication skills, are essential for success in this role. CT simulation knowledge is beneficial but not required, as that responsibility is managed by another team member.

Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed, with a total commitment of 40 hours per week including overtime if needed
