Job Description:

This Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position offers a unique opportunity to work in a critical access hospital in Quinter, Kansas. You will primarily focus on medications and treatments, with about 75% of your time dedicated to med-surg activities. The role involves caring for patients alongside delivering 1-2 babies weekly, making each shift both rewarding and engaging. Night shifts run from 5:45 PM to 6:00 AM on a 3x12-hour schedule. Expect a 1:1 ratio for OB patients and a 1:3 ratio for med-surg patients, with shared housing options nearby. Prior experience in a critical access setting and certifications such as CPR and ACLS are required. Additional certifications like TNCC, NRP, and PALS are recommended to excel in this environment.
