Job Description:

This cardiovascular operating room contract offers an engaging opportunity to circulate complex thoracic and cardiovascular cases in a supportive hospital setting. The role requires an experienced CVOR nurse skilled in procedures like CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracotomies, with the ability to handle high-stakes, intricate surgeries such as Aortic Root Replacements and ECMO cases. You'll be managing a 1:1 patient ratio in a 4-bed unit across 4 OR suites, with a schedule of 10-hour days, four days a week, for a total of 13 weeks. Expect to perform pre-, intra-, and post-operative duties in a fast-paced environment that values precision and expertise. While the role is demanding, it offers the chance to deepen your specialty skills in cardiac and thoracic surgery, with scrubs provided and a focus on quality patient outcomes.
