Job Description:

Join us as a Stepdown Cardiac Registered Nurse in Columbia, South Carolina, where you'll provide specialized care to post-operative cardiac and vascular surgery patients. This role takes place in a surgical step-down unit focused on patients recovering from CV procedures, including carotid endarterectomy, femoral endarterectomy, and AAA repairs. Expect to work 12-hour day shifts, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the local sights between shifts. You'll be responsible for monitoring patients ranging from 17 hours to several days post-surgery, ensuring smooth recoveries and swift responses to changes. Candidates should bring strong cardiac telemetry experience and a knack for managing post-op cardiac patients in a fast-paced environment.
