Job Description:

Join an exciting perioperative nursing opportunity in Stockton, where you'll be working in a busy cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) environment. This contract role involves hands-on participation in a variety of surgical cases, including general, vascular, orthopedic, endo, and urology surgeries, with some open heart procedures on hand. You'll operate in a setting that handles up to 10 operating rooms daily, supporting a diverse caseload of 23 to 25 surgeries per day. Your main focus will be assisting surgical teams, ensuring smooth workflow, and maintaining high standards for patient safety during procedures. The shift involves 12-hour days, with scheduling that includes night calls and weekend coverage, providing an immersive experience in a fast-paced OR that values both skill and flexibility.
