Job Description:

This RN position in the CVICU at Central Maine Medical Center offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a critical care environment that is both challenging and impactful. The role involves caring for adult and geriatric patients recovering from complex cardiac surgeries, including post-operative cardiac, vascular, and endovascular procedures, as well as managing patients on ECMO, Impella devices, and balloon pumps. The shift consists of 12-hour daytime hours, providing a balanced schedule that allows ample time to experience the vibrant community of Lewiston. You'll be part of a facility accredited by The Joint Commission, equipped with advanced technology like Impella, ECMO, and extensive safe-patient handling equipment. This assignment is especially suited for experienced CVICU RNs who are comfortable floating across ICU, MS, Tele, and ER units as needed, with a focus on providing top-tier care in a fast-paced setting. Expect to collaborate with a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional cardiovascular and critical care services in a teaching hospital environment.

Location: Lewiston, Maine
Shift: 12-hour days from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
