Job Description:

Join our team as an anesthesia RN at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, where you'll play a vital role supporting a variety of surgical procedures in a bustling operating room that handles 21 different specialties. This contract offers a dynamic schedule with day shifts from Monday to Friday, requiring your expertise in assisting with anesthesia during heart surgeries, traumas, and elective cases. You'll be responsible for tasks such as assisting with intubations, fiber optic scopes, setting up medication pumps, and managing equipment like Cell Saver and Belmont. The role demands a strong background in OR and CVOR circulating, with at least three years of anesthesia experience and prior travel work. Expect to work 40 hours weekly over 13 weeks, including participation in weekend and holiday rotations, along with on-call responsibilities that require a response within 30 minutes—so a vehicle is necessary. This position offers a chance to work in a critical and fast-paced environment, with two weeks of orientation and ongoing training for additional anesthesia skills.
