Job Description:

Join a dedicated team caring for patients in the West 7 Med/Tele Complex Care unit, featuring 37 beds. This role requires working overnight shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a flexible schedule that may include 36 or 48 hours per week. The position offers a unique opportunity to experience the fast-paced world of acute medical-surgical tele units while maintaining a balanced work schedule. Your responsibilities will include providing essential support to patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and adapting to float assignments across various units. You’ll also be expected to work at least one holiday per contract, and may participate in charge nurse duties. Highland offers training if needed, and the facility is committed to accommodating your schedule and preferences. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles away from the facility and have at least one year of recent acute med-surg/tele experience. A valid NY RN license and AHA BLS certification are required. Epic charting systems are used for documentation, and flexibility is key as staffing needs change.
