This assignment on the IU 2nd Floor ICU offers a unique chance to manage a variety of patient types, from post-surgical recoveries and stroke cases to complex cardiac procedures like CABG and valve surgeries. The role involves hands-on management of ventilators, invasive lines, chest tubes, and post-cath care, emphasizing skill and precision. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts over a 13-week contract, with a weekly commitment of 36 hours. This position is ideal for ICU travelers with at least 3 years of experience, including those familiar with CRRT (NxStage), seeking a fulfilling and enriching clinical experience.
